REGINA — Two of four people charged in connection with a quadruple murder on the Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation have appeared in court.
In February of last year, the File Hills First Nations Police Service received a report of sudden deaths at a home on Carry the Kettle.
They located two men and two women who had been shot to death.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was in Regina Provincial Court on April 16, charged with four counts of first-degree murder. He was remanded in custody to April 24.
Lauren Hotomani, 67, was also in Regina Provincial Court on April 16, charged with accessory after the fact to murder. His matter was adjourned to April 23.
