Destin Doherty returned to court on April 15. He was remanded and is scheduled to return on April 29. Doherty is charged with committing an indignity to a dead body and accessory after the fact to murder
Steven Myslichuk appeared in court on April 1. He was remanded and is set to return on April 30. Myslichuck is charged with knowingly assisting a person who had murdered Ross to escape and indecently interfering with Ross’s remains, by placing the body in a hockey bag, transporting it in a vehicle trunk, and driving around the city on Jan. 17.

The charges stem from January when police found Ross’s body in the trunk of a vehicle. Officers attempted a traffic stop near Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street around 3 a.m. on Jan. 19 but the driver refused to stop. The Regina Police Service Aerial Support Unit later located the vehicle in the 1400 block of Princess Street, where the occupants had already fled.
