The Ag Transport Coalition says week 36 saw performance deteriorate on a system basis and for each railway individually.
CN and CPKC Rail combined, supplied 77% of hopper cars ordered, a decline from the 86% performance seen in week 35.
System performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a twelfth consecutive week and returns below the 80% threshold for the first time in three weeks.
In supplying 80% of cars ordered by shippers in week 36, CN saw performance decline from the 91% order fulfillment performance seen in week 35.
CN performance returns below the 90% threshold after having achieved that mark in week 35 for the first time in eleven weeks.
In supplying 73% of shipper orders, CPKC saw performance decline from the 81% order fulfillment performance seen in week 35.
CPKC performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for an eleventh straight week, and returns below the 80% threshold after achieving that mark in week 35 for the first time in nine weeks.
