REGINA — Two individuals are facing charges in connection with 14 separate thefts, all carried out at a business in the Normanview area of Regina, in the 5000 block of 4th Avenue North.
The first incident occurred on March 9, when two suspects entered the business, grabbed merchandise, and left without paying. Similar incidents took place multiple times throughout March and continued into April, with the final occurrence reported on April 8.
Investigators from the Regina Police Criminal Investigative Unit, with assistance from the Front Line Support Unit, worked to identify those responsible for these incidents. At approximately 3:15 p.m. on April 9, the suspects were identified and located in the area of Connaught Place. Both individuals were arrested without incident.
A 30-year-old woman was charged with 14 counts of theft under $5,000, and a 38-year-old man was charged with 12 counts of theft under $5,000.
They appeared in Regina Provincial Court on April 10.
