WYNYARD – A new court date has been set for one of two people charged in connection with a poppy box theft in Wynyard.
The charges stem from the theft of a poppy donation box at the Subway in Wynyard, on November 10.
Rachael Johnson, 42, of Watson, was in Wynyard Provincial Court April 23, where she had her matter adjourned to June 25.
Her co-accused, 34-year-old Nathan Reimer of Watson, admitted his guilt in February, and received a suspended sentence with three months of probation, and he had to pay 30 dollars in restitution to the Royal Canadian Legion.
