REGINA — A 27-year-old man has been charged following an investigation into two separate vehicle fires reported earlier this month in Regina.
The first incident occurred on April 11. Police were dispatched, at approximately 12 a.m., to the 4600 block of Mutrie Crescent for a report of a vehicle fire in the driveway of a residence. Officers arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze using a fire extinguisher from their patrol car.
A second incident was reported on April 16, when police responded to another vehicle fire in the area of East Sandpiper Crescent.
On April 23, Regina Police Service investigators arrested Donovan Bray. He has been charged with two counts of arson with disregard for human life, disguise with intent, and mischief under $5,000.
Brady appeared in Regina Provincial Court on April 24.
