SASKATCHEWAN — Update: Environment Canada has lifted the last of the weather warnings that were in effect in Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada had issued orange-level and yellow-level winter storm and snowfall warnings, as well as alerts for rain, freezing rain, wind and blowing snow in recent days due to a powerful, multi-day storm that struck the province. A special weather statement was also in effect at one time.
Temperatures are expected to be below normal following the storm.
The storm has caused significant problems with highways in the province, and travel is still not recommended on many routes. For updated highway conditions, check the Highway Hotline.
SaskToday.ca will have updates as they become available.
