SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service says its Major Crimes Section is investigating what the SPS calls the city's sixth homicide of 2026.
According to a news release from the SPS, at around 10:54 p.m. on April 24, members of the patrol division responded to the 2200-block of 22nd Street for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, the SPS said officers located a 55-year-old unresponsive man. He was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services West, where he died April 25.
The SPS said members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are continuing to investigate.
