REGINA — Four people, including one from Ontario and another from India, are facing multiple charges following a two-month drug trafficking investigation led by Regina Police Service Drug Unit.
The investigation, which started in early 2026, resulted in the execution of two search warrants in the homes in the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue and the 0 block of Centennial Street in Regina. Two vehicles were also searched during the operation, which happened between March 13 and April 22.
Police say searches turned up a significant quantity of illegal drugs, more than 2.4 kilograms of cocaine and nearly $11,000 in cash.
A man from Bathinda, Indian, has been charged with multiple counts of trafficking in cocaine, along with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. He appeared in Regina court in March.
A Saskatoon woman has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime. She also appeared in court in March.
A Regina woman has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. She appeared in court in March.
A Mississauga, Ont., man faces similar charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. According to police, he was arrested and charged a second time on April 22 in a separate incident related to the investigation. Those additional charges include flight from police and dangerous driving. He appeared in court the following day.
