OXBOW — The Carnduff RCMP is asking for the public's assistance as it investigates the theft of heavy-duty equipment parts from the RM of Enniskillen.
According to a message on the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network, the RCMP was informed April 27 that unknown suspect(s) attended a worksite and stole several items, including a CAT diesel particulate filter, CB radios and 12-volt batteries.
According to the RCMP, these parts are commonly used in heavy equipment and may be resold, installed in other machinery or sold to a scrap yard.
Police are asking the public to remain vigilant, and report any suspicious vehicles or activity in rural and industrial areas.
