NORTH BATTLEFORD — Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit are investigating a suspicious death.
On April 28 at approximately 4 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of an injured male in an alley behind a residence on 105 Street in North Battleford.
Officers immediately responded and located the man. He was taken to hospital by EMS where he was later declared dead.
The man has been identified as 36-year-old Tyson Mosquito, from North Battleford. His family has been notified.
The man’s death is considered suspicious. As a result, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit has taken charge of the investigation.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit is asking anyone who lives in the 105 Street area in North Battleford to check their home security cameras and doorbell cameras between 3:40 p.m. and 4 p.m. on April 28. If your device captured images or videos of suspicious activity, please report it to police immediately.
Investigators are also asking anyone who was with Tyson Mosquito in the hours or days before his death to please contact police.

Investigators advise there will be an increased police presence in the 105 Street area in North Battleford for an undetermined amount of time.
Police say they are unable to provide additional information about this investigation at this time. Updates will be provided when available. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, police will notify the public.
