SASKATOON — An investigation is underway after an unidentified man was found dead in the South Saskatchewan River Friday morning.
At approximately 9 a.m., May 1, patrol officers responded to the area of Sturgeon Drive and Spadina Crescent East after it was reported there was a body in the river. An unidentified male was located upon officer arrival.
The SPS Major Crime and Missing Persons Unit are working to confirm the deceased’s identity and cause of death.
