PRINCE ALBERT — Two men from Warman are facing weapons and drug trafficking charges after the Saskatchewan RCMP's Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team seized cocaine and a loaded sawed-off shotgun during a traffic stop in Prince Albert on April 30.
As a result of a proactive investigation, Landon Saccucci and Adam Braun, both 18, were arrested. Police seized about 168 grams of cocaine, divided into bags, cash, a cellphone, and a firearm during a search of the vehicle.
Braun and Saccucci are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition without a license, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of firearm in a vehicle, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of property valued over $5,000 obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number.
Braun was additionally charged with possession of a weapon contrary to an order and possession of a firearm when knowing its possession was unauthorized.
Braun and Saccucci appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on May 1.
