WADENA – Wadena RCMP are asking the public to report sightings of wanted woman Michelle Quewezance.
Wadena RCMP are asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of Michelle Quewezance, who is wanted.
On April 29 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Wadena RCMP received a report of a theft in Wadena. The investigation determined a bank card was stolen at a residence.
Later that same day around 1 p.m., Wadena RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter at a separate residence in Wadena. Officers responded and determined a female entered the residence and rummaged through it. Wadena RCMP continue to investigate, which includes determining whether any items were stolen from the residence.
As a result of investigation, 46-year-old Michelle Quewezance, from Yellow Quill First Nation, is charged with one count, theft under $5,000 and one count, break and enter.
A warrant has been issued for Michelle Quewezance’s arrest. Wadena RCMP continue work to locate Michelle Quewezance and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on her whereabouts.
Michelle Quewezance is described as:
- Height: 5’8”
- Weight: 140 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour: black
- Other descriptors: multiple tattoos, including a heart on her left hand, and feathers on the left side of her face and right forearm

Michelle Quewezance is also wanted on two warrants from Rose Valley RCMP. One warrant is in relation to failing to comply with a probation order and the second is in relation to a separate theft investigation.
