REGINA — Update 6 p.m.: The Regina Police Service reported that eight-year-old Carson Laplante has been located and is physically unharmed.
REGINA — Update 4:30 p.m.: The Regina Police Service continues to search for missing 8-year-old Carson Laplante. Regina Police have also updated his clothing description to a grey T-shirt with an image of a capybara on the front, dark green pants, and black and white runners. An updated image has been provided, along with a video.
Carson is non-verbal, and along with his age, this makes him vulnerable.
Those in the following areas are urged to check their properties for any sign of Carson:
- 1st Avenue North to 9th Avenue North and Winnipeg Street to Albert Street
- All areas surrounding this radius
Carson is known to like trucks and may hide in structures or enclosed spaces. He will not respond to his name. If he is hiding, he will not come out when his name is called.
Original Report May 5 1:30 p.m.:The Regina Police Service is asking the public’s help in locating eight-year-old Carson Laplante, who was last seen on May 5 at approximately 10:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Hamilton Street.
Carson is described as male. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and white and black runners.
There is no evidence that Carson has come to harm, but he is considered at risk due to his age and there is concern for his well-being. Carson is non-verbal.
