WILKIE — The Wilkie RCMP responded to the following calls during the week of April 28 to May 4.
RCMP received three reports of dogs running loose in the Town of Wilkie. Members made referrals to the Bylaw Officer.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious individual in a residential yard. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
A 25-year-old woman from Wilkie was charged with trafficking in property obtained by crime and possession of property obtained by crime after members received a report of an individual in possession of stolen property.
A 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, both from Wilkie, were charged with assault after members received a complaint of assault.
Police received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence, but it was unfounded.
A 30-day roadside suspension was issued during a traffic stop.
RCMP received a report of an individual walking on the highway north of Wilkie. Members transported the subject of complaint to a nearby community.
Police received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a report of a business door lying on the ground. The door had broken off the hinges due to high wind conditions.
