SASKATOON — Police are searching for two suspects following an armed robbery at an off-sale liquor outlet in the city’s Fairhaven neighbourhood early Thursday morning.
Saskatoon police officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive just after 2:15 a.m. on May 7, 2026. According to police, two men entered the store when one of them, who was wearing a mask, began grabbing alcohol from the shelves.
When a member confronted the masked person, the suspect deployed bear spray, striking the employee and a second co-worker. Both were treated at the scene for injuries consistent with exposure to bear spray, including respiratory distress and eye irritation.
The two suspects fled the store right after the attack. No arrests have been made.
