REGINA — When someone goes missing, how does this affect those left behind?
Regina Police Services hopes to connect with the public on this issue in a video capturing the thoughts of Cody Favel, whose 18-year-old mother, Patricia Maye Favel, went missing from Regina on Sept. 30, 1984 — four days after Cody's first birthday. Regina police say it is one of the longest unsolved cases in the city's history.
Missing Persons Week in Saskatchewan is an opportunity to raise awareness, strengthen community response efforts and highlight the services and supports available to families of missing persons across the province, says the RPS.
RPS has a dedicated Victim Services team, including a Missing Persons Liaison, who stays connected with families to offer support and updates as they are available.
