PRINCE ALBERT — The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Prince Albert man with child exploitation related offences.
On May 12, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Prince Albert. Electronic devices were examined at scene and also seized by investigators.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
He appeared in court on May 12, and was released with court-imposed conditions. His next court date is scheduled for July 14, in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
