SASKATOON — A 74-year-old man has died at the Regional Psychiatric Centre while serving a life sentence since February 1985.
Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) says Andrew Ian died on May 13 of apparent natural cause. His next of kin have been notified.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, CSC says it will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
