BIG RIVER FIRST NATION – Big River RCMP are asking the public for help in locating Mariah Bill, a woman who is wanted in relation to a robbery and assault investigation.
On May 17 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Big River RCMP received a report of a robbery on Highway 793 on Big River First Nation.
Officers responded. The investigation determined an SUV was stopped on the side of the highway. A group of individuals approached the SUV and demanded the vehicle’s keys. An altercation occurred, during which bear spray was deployed into the SUV. The SUV was stolen.
The occupants of the SUV were assessed by EMS and reported non-life-threatening injuries to police.
The stolen SUV is described as a black coloured Hyundai Tuscan with Saskatchewan licence plate 089 NFP. Big River RCMP made patrols searching for the SUV and the suspects. At this time, the SUV and the suspects have not been located.
As a result of investigation, 18-year-old Mariah Bill from Big River First Nation is charged with:
- one count, robbery with a weapon;
- three counts, assault with a weapon;
- one count, assault;
- one count, uttering threats against a person;
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; and
- one count, weapons possession contrary to order.
A warrant has been issued for Mariah Bill’s arrest. Big River RCMP continue work to locate Bill and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on her whereabouts.

- Height: 5’7”
- Weight: 140 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour: dyed red
