REGINA — The Regina Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is reducing its hours this weekend.
On Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, the UCC will operate from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“These service adjustments are due to physicians availability and to proactively ensure the availability of services for our patients,” said the Saskatchewan Health Authority in a statement.
The UCC will return to its normal hours of 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 25.
While the UCC isn’t open, patients with medical emergencies should call 911 or proceed to the emergency departments at.
- Regina General Hospital – 1440 14th Avenue;
- Pasqua Hospital – 4101 Dewdney Avenue.
Meanwhile, patients with no emergency can access care by:
- Calling HealthLine 811 – For professional health and mental health advice available 24/7.
- Visiting a walk-in clinic – Check local clinic hours as weekend schedules may vary.
- Connecting with your pharmacy – Some pharmacies may be open and can assist with minor health concerns.
