REGINA — Regina police are asking the public for help after a hit and run caused a vehicle to roll over in the Lakeview neighbourhood on the weekend.
Police were called to the area of Albert Street and 22nd Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a single-vehicle rollover.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle on its side in the front yard of a residence in the 3200 block of Albert Street. The driver was assessed by EMS at the scene and released.
Initial investigation determined the driver was struck from the side by a white Honda Civic with a black hood, causing the driver to lose control and roll. The driver of the Honda Civic fled the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing. Police said there were many vehicles in the area at the time of the collision.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it to contact Regina police at 306-777-6500.
