SASKATOON — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed during a confrontation involving multiple suspects in the College Park area early Wednesday morning.
Saskatoon Police Service say shortly before 2 a.m. on May 27, police were called to the area of 14th Street East and Acadia Drive for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they located the male victim suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say their investigation found that a confrontation had occurred between multiple suspects and the victim, which resulted in the victim being stabbed. The suspects then fled the area in a vehicle. The suspects and victim are not believed to be known to one another.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
