CUMBERLAND HOUSE — Cumberland House RCMP are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an assault and vehicle theft that left one man injured earlier this week.
On May 22, at approximately 9 a.m., Cumberland House RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence in Mameek Subdivision in Cumberland House. Officers responded and located an injured male. He was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
Investigation determined a group of individuals attended the residence and assaulted the male victim. The group stole some of the male’s personal belongings, including his truck, and left the residence in the stolen vehicle. The stolen truck is described as a navy blue 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with Saskatchewan license plate 733 MLX.
The suspects are described as two males and two females.
Officers are asking anyone who has information about this incident, or anyone who sees a truck matching the stolen vehicle’s description, to please contact Cumberland House RCMP by calling 310-RCMP.
