REGINA — More than 400 athletes are expected to compete this week as the 2026 Pickleball Saskatchewan Provincial Tournament gets underway in Regina.
Organizers say the event, presented by Dream, will be the largest provincial pickleball championship held in Saskatchewan to date.
The four-day indoor tournament runs at the Queen City Pickleball Hub, located through the Avana Centre Building at REAL District from Thursday through Sunday.
- Thursday, May 28 10:00 a.m. Competition begins with Men’s & Women’s Singles
- Friday, May 29 8:00 a.m. Opening Ceremonies
- 8:30 a.m. Play continues with Women’s Doubles
- Saturday, May 30 8:00 a.m. Mixed Doubles
- Sunday, May 31 8:00 a.m. Men’s Doubles
- Competition begins Thursday at 10 a.m. with men’s and women’s singles events.
A youth demonstration tournament featuring officiated matches is also scheduled for Friday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
“We’re looking forward to a weekend of fun, spirited play and high-level competition, all in support of a worthy cause,” said Randy Dove, chair of the tournament organizing committee.
The tournament is hosted by Pickleball Regina Inc. and will support the Canadian Mental Health Association Regina Branch as the event’s official charity partner.
Tournament organizers say net proceeds will go toward CMHA Regina programs and services focused on mental health support in the community.
Admission to the tournament is free and spectators are welcome throughout the weekend. Free parking will also be available on site.
