CARLYLE — The Carlyle RCMP is asking for the public's assistance as it investigates the theft of heavy equipment in Arcola.
According to a message from the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network, the RCMP received a report May 29 of a vehicle and a trailer that were reportedly stolen during the overnight hours.
Stolen items include a black 2015 PJ Transport flat-deck trailer with Saskatchewan licence plate 043 MQI, a 2002 ASV Scout 50 tracked utility vehicle with post-pounder serial number 212; and various construction tools.
According to the RCMP, the stolen vehicle has been recovered but the trailer and equipment are still missing.
The RCMP says police are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious vehicles or activity in rural and industrial areas.
