REGINA — Regina Fire & Protective Services responded to three fires across the city in less than six hours Thursday night and early Friday morning.
The first incident, a house fire, occurred on Thursday evening,
Crews were called to the 1100 block of Victoria Avenue in downtown at 6:34 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews made entry into the home, locating the source of the fire on the second floor.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze, as all searchers have been completed and no injuries were reported.
Around the same time, firefighters also answered a call for an apartment fire in Rosemont located at the 800 block of Empress Street.
The fire was located on the building’s second floor, inside a room, and was extinguished by firefighters.
Multiple people have been displaced by the fire, and the building has sustained damage.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
Hours later at approximately 12:30 a.m., firefighters then responded to a report of a house fire on the 800 block of Elliot St in the Eastview neighbourhood.
Upon entry, firefighters located the origin of the fire in the basement and was quickly brought under control.
All searchers were completed as no injuries were reported.
All three fires are under investigation.
