REGINA — A Regina man arrested in connection with a forcible confinement case on White Bear First Nation has appeared in court again.
Braiden Hotomani, 28, was in Regina Provincial Court June 4, where he was remanded in custody to June 11.
On May 24, Carlyle RCMP were called to White Bear following a report of a man who had been forcibly confined, threatened with a firearm and repeatedly assaulted.
The victim was able to escape and was treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
After the suspect was arrested, police say they seized an axe and a handgun.
