LAKE DIEFENBAKER – Outlook RCMP have responded to a water-related death on Lake Diefenbaker.
On June 6 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Outlook RCMP received a report of a water-related death on Lake Diefenbaker.
Officers attended, along with local EMS. On June 7, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team removed a male from the water. The male was declared dead at the scene. He has been identified as a 30-year-old man, from Saskatoon. His family has been notified.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has taken charge of the investigation.
RCMP say this is considered a sudden death investigation. As there is no element of criminality, police say they will not be releasing any further details.
