REGINA —The Queen City Ex (QCX) is warning people of an on-going scam.
According to their social media, multiple businesses have received fraudulent messages related to invites for booth applications for the festival marketplace.
“These communications may appear legitimate but are not affiliated with QCX or (Regina Exhibition Association Limited) REAL District,” said the post.
In response, REAL has contacted the Regina Public Service (RPS).
“RPS is aware of the matter and is actively taking steps to investigate,” reads the report.
Organizers are warning businesses not to click suspicious links or submit payment information.
Any emails on the festivals will be sent by the real1884 email address.
