SASKATOON — Saskatoon police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was shot downtown early Saturday morning.
On June 6, at approximately 3 a.m., police were called to the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South for a report of an unknown problem. Information later clarified that a man had been shot.
Officers arrived on scene and located the man, who had serious but non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot. He was taken to hospital for further medical care.
Through their investigation, police learned that the shooting occurred in the area of 3rd Avenue South and 20th Street East.
