LLOYDMINSTER — Lloydminster RCMP has charged a Turtleford man in connection with a shooting that left two men with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Lloydminster RCMP were called to the Lloydminster Hospital on Nov. 10, 2025, for a report of two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Through their investigation, police say they learned that the incident was targeted and gang related. Officers located the scene of the shooting and a vehicle involved.
With the assistance of the Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section and Lloydminster RCMP Forensic Identification Section, police executed search warrants and located the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting. With the assistance of the RCMP National Forensic Laboratory Services, police identified Robert Lee Plourde, 30, as a suspect. Attempts to locate Plourde have been unsuccessful and the RCMP has obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Plourde is charged with discharging a firearm with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.
Police are now seeking the public's help locating Plourde.
Lloydminster RCMP haven't released his photo. Cpl Mathew Howell, public information officer – WAD/EAD for Alberta RCMP Media Group, told SaskToday that they didn't release Plourde's photo because he isn't considered an immediate danger to the public.
Plourde is about 5-foot-10 and 264 pounds. He has a medium complexion and a tear drop tattoo near his left eye.
