MOOSE JAW — The steady stream of storms across southern Saskatchewan over the last few days is starting to play havoc with the Western Canadian Baseball League schedule.
For the second time in as many nights, the Regina Red Sox had a contest against the Weyburn Beavers postponed, only with Wednesday night’s game in Regina instead of Weyburn.
The Moose Jaw Miller Express saw their game against the Swift Current 57’s in Swift Current postponed, as was the contest between the Medicine Hat Mavericks and Saskatoon Berries in Saskatoon.
All three games will be rescheduled at a later date, with tickets for the June 10 contests being honoured at that time. Be sure to keep an eye on wcblbaseball.com and team social media dates for rescheduled times.
League action for Saskatchewan's WCBL teams continues on Thursday with Saskatoon at Regina and Moose Jaw at Weyburn. First pitch in both games is at 7:05 p.m.
