MEADOW LAKE – Meadow Lake conservation officers are investigating after they received information June 5 regarding an injured crow found in a yard along Seventh Avenue West in Meadow Lake.
According to the Sasktip line's Facebook page, officers determined the crow was suffering from a gunshot wound. It later died from the injuries.
The Sasktip post said it is illegal to hunt any wildlife within 500 metres of an occupied building. Officers have collected evidence but need the public's assistance to identify the individual responsible.
