PUNNICHY — A new court date has been set for a Regina man arrested in connection with a shooting incident on George Gordon First Nation.
Last August, Punnichy RCMP received a report of an injured woman outside a home on the First Nation.
The investigation determined she had been shot during an altercation with a man who fled the scene on foot.
Xavier Worm, 24, was later arrested and faces numerous charges, including attempted murder.
In Punnichy Provincial Court June 16, he was remanded in custody until Aug. 4.
