SASKATOON — Update: Traffic restrictions have been lifted in the area of Louise Street and McEown Avenue following a shooting this morning.
Original story: Traffic restrictions are in place following an early morning shooting.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., June 18, patrol officers responded to the 10 block of Sturby Place. Upon arrival, police located an injured man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of investigation, traffic restrictions are in place in the area of Louise Street and McEown Avenue.
Saskatoon Police are continuing to investigate.
