ESTEVAN — One person is facing multiple charges after the Estevan Police Service (EPS) was called to a domestic dispute.
According to the June 18 police report, the incident was reported from an apartment complex. The EPS said officers located the victim in the front lobby and determined she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. He was subsequently located and arrested at the apartment, was lodged in cells and will be released once sober with charges of assault and uttering threats.
That same day, the EPS said officers conducted a curfew check on a woman who was subject to court-ordered conditions. She was not at her residence as required by her curfew. Charges have been prepared and a warrant has been requested for her arrest.
A 911 call was received regarding a man experiencing a medical emergency. The EPS reported officers attended and assisted Estevan EMS in transporting the man to St. Joseph’s Hospital for further treatment.
Officers conducted a curfew check June 17 on a girl who was subject to court-ordered conditions. The EPS said she was not at home as required by her curfew. She was later located and arrested before being returned to her residence.
A report was received of a man yelling and playing loud music in the lobby of a hotel. The EPS said officers attended and arrested the man for public intoxication and violating a no-trespass order that prohibited him from being at the hotel. The EPS said he resisted arrest and is now facing several additional charges. The man was subsequently lodged in cells for the night.
An alarm was reported at a business in the downtown area. Officers attended and determined it to be a false alarm.
Police received a report of a hit-and-run collision in the parking lot of a grocery store June 15. The EPS said the matter remains under investigation.
Officers attended a residence in central Estevan following a report that a man had assaulted a woman. According to the EPS, an investigation determined no assault had occurred. The woman departed after speaking with police.
A domestic dispute at a trailer court in central Estevan was investigated. The EPS said officers separated the involved parties and determined that no criminal offence had occurred.
Police received a report of quads being driven through a trailer court in south Estevan. The vehicles were no longer in the area when officers attended.
