8:28 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN SASKATCHEWAN! Tommy Stevens does what Tommy Stevens does and the win is in the books. 40-37. The losing skid against the Stamps is over, but by the slimmest of slim margins.

8:26 p.m.
KSB has a catch at the one, first and goal, and Stone Cold Tommy Stevens is on to try and win the game.

8:23 p.m.
Harris rolls out and finds Duncan-Busby for an eight yard catch down to the Calgary 12. Calgary challenges but the play on the field stands

8:22 p.m.
Harris finds Emilus for 12 yards on a leaping sideline catch, down to the Calgary 23. Riders are in field goal range.

8:20 p.m.
A pass to Barnes gets Calgary up to the17, and the 24-yard field goal attempt is good. 37-34 Calgary.

8:18 p.m.
Riders get to Adams on the next play and the ball comes loose and is recovered by the Riders, but it's ruled an incomplete pass after a coach challenge. Second and 20 from the 35.

8:16 p.m.
Holding penalty pushes Calgary back to first-and-20 at the 35.

8:15 p.m.
Offensive pass interference call pushes the Stamps back to the 45, but Adams gets that right back on a pass to Brissett. First down at the Riders 20.

8:12 p.m.
A short run and incomplete pass and Hale has a 37-yard field goal attempt to get to the second overtime. It's good, and we're tied 34-34 and heading to a second round of OT.

8:09 p.m.
Riders defence comes up big from there, and Calgary has to settle for a 23-yard field goal. 34-31 after Calgary's first overtime.

8:07 p.m.
Calgary has the ball first from the Riders 40 and get a 13 yard catch from Brooks and 11 yard run from Mills down to the 15.

8:04 p.m.
Riders punt, clock runs down, and we're into overtime. Two OT chances per team and then we go into two-point conversions.

8:03 p.m.
A pass to the sideline to Emilus is almost intercepted by Johnson, and a second down pass to KeeSean is incomplete. Third-and-10 with eight seconds to go.

8:02 p.m.
Harris gets the ball back with 27 seconds remaining and on their own 38.

8:00 p.m.
Touchdown Calgary. And the collapse is complete. Adams avoids the rush to get to the outside and finds Jones in the back of the endzone. Nine plays, 88 yards. 31-31 tie with 34 seconds to play.

7:58 p.m.
Mills has two big runs up the middle to get down to the Riders 12 with 59 seconds remaining.

7:57 p.m.
Calgary goes for it on third down and makes it and one play later get a 15-yard pass to get into Saskatchewan territory with 1:41 remaining.

7:53 p.m.
Incomplete pass to Emilus and the Riders are punting. Calgary gets the ball back on their own 22 with 2:55 to play.

7:51 p.m.
Riders are at second-and-10 on their own 39 at the three minute warning holding a seven-point lead. Going to be an interesting finish in a game that probably shouldn't be interesting at this point.

7:48 p.m.
Ouellette hasn't returned to the field since his apparent injury, by the way.

7:47 p.m. 
A sack by Vaughters for a loss of six and the Stamps are punting. Saskatchewan gets the ball back on their own 28 with 4:43 to play

7:45 p.m.
Four straight runs by Mills and Calgary is into Saskatchewan territory at the 51.

7:42 p.m. 
Two plays, including a sack for a nine-yard loss, and Saskatchewan punts. Calgary gets the ball back on their 28 with 8:13 to play.

7:41 p.m.
Drive stalls there, Calgary punts, Riders get the ball back in there own 44. 

7:37 p.m.
Riders appear to get the two-and-out, but an offside penalty extends the drive, and even worse, the Riders defensive back corps takes another hit as Hughes has to be helped off the field after a left ankle injury.

7:34 p.m.
Riders get up to their own 35, but that's as far as they get. Punt, Calgary gets the ball back on their own 33 with 11:34 to play in the fourth.

7:27 p.m.
Touchdown Calgary. Brooks has a 25-yard catch, McAllister runs 14 yards, a horsecollar tackle gets the ball down to the one and Vaughn punches it in for the major. Four plays, 78 yards, 31-24 Saskatchewan with 13:38 to play in the game.

7:21 p.m.
Drives stalls there, Calgary gets the ball back on their own 32 after the punt with 11 seconds left in the third quarter. Bissett catches a short pass and goes 24 yards to midfield on the final play of the third quarter. 31-17 Saskatchewan.

7:19 p.m.
Ouellette runs for two yards to start the drive but comes up favouring his right leg and is able to leave the field under his own power.

7:16 p.m.
Calgary gets up to their own 37 when the drive stalls, Riders start their next drive at their 43 after a decent return but Letcher.

7:09 p.m.
Calgary gets the ball back on their own 19 after the kickoff. 

7:06 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN ROUGHRIDERS! That's how you snuff out a team's momentum! KeeSean beats double coverage over the middle, Harris threads the needle, and it's in the end zone. Nine plays. 70 yards, two point convert is good, and Saskatchewan leads 31-17 with 4:39 left in the third quarter.

7:03 p.m.
Ouellette has a short catch and picks his way through the defence down to the four, first and goal with 5:45 remaining in the third quarter.

7:01 p.m.
Offence stays out on third down at the Stamps 33, and after the front end catches the blitz, Harris finds Emilus coming back for 13 yards down to the Calgary 20.

6:58 p.m.
KSB gets lined up with a linebacker again and that ends predictably, with a 33-yard catch down to the Calgary 35. Riders are in field goal range with 9:01 left in the third quarter.

6:55 p.m.
Riders defence stiffens and stops Mills for no yards on second down at the Riders 14. A 22-yard field goal attempt and it's good. 23-17 Saskatchewan with 10:34 remaining in the third quarter.

6:53 p.m.
Philpot has a 29 yard catch to get down to the Riders 20 and the Stamps are in the red zone.

6:52 p.m.
Calgary gets the ball to start the second half, and three plays into the drive they're into Saskatchewan territory at the 53.

6:37 p.m. 
No way this game should be remotely close after the first half Saskatchewan has 312 yards of offence, Calgary only 52, with the Stamps offence looking as anemic as that number indicates. But there's a reason Saskatchewan hasn't defeated Calgary since 2024, and we're looking at it — tough to win if you let a badly outplayed opponent keep hanging around. Riders will need to be sharper if they're going to win this one, as strange at it seems to say given how they utterly dominated the first half.

6:36 p.m.
Touchdown Calgary. What a ridiculous turn of events. First, Exume recovers the kickoff for Saskatchewan and gets the Riders the ball back with 11 seconds to play, setting up a 47 yard field goal with no time left on the clock in the half. It's wide left, and Calgary's Tyreik McAllister ends up going 125 yards the other way for the major. 23-14 Saskatchewan, and if the Stampeders turn around this game, that play will be the one that got it started.

6:31 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN ROUGHRIDERS! Oh my heavens, what a surgical three-minute warning drive. Perfect clock management ends with KSB hauling in a pass in the back corner of the end zone with 15 seconds remaining. Extra point is missed, 11 plays, 86 yards, 23-7 Saskatchewan with 13 seconds remaining.

6:27 p.m.
Emilus hauls in a 27 yard pass after a coupe more runs, and the Riders are first and goal at the Calgary four with 38 seconds remaining.

6:25 p.m.
A handful of decent runs by Ouellette and a nice catch on the sideline by KSB and the Riders are into Calgary territory at the 52.

6:18 p.m.
Nothing doing on Calgary's next possession, with a quick two-and-out. Riders get the ball back on the their own 24 at the three-minute warning.

6:12 p.m. 
TOUCHDOWN ROUGHRIDERS! KSB has his second catch of the game and it's a huge one! Catch at the Calgary 36 and he goes all the way to the end zone for the major, in no small part due to a nice block by JJ to finish off the run. Four plays, 74 yards, 17-7 Saskatchewan with 4:34 to play in the half. 

6:11 p.m.
A six yard run by Ouellette and 10 yard catch by KeeSean and the Riders are up to their own 42.

6:09 p.m.
Riders get the ball back on their own 36 after the kickoff.

6:07 p.m.
Touchdown Calgary. Mills runs for 13 down to the one, Vaughn finishes the drive with the major. Two plays, 14 yards, 10-7 Saskatchewan with 7:32 until halftime.

6:05 p.m.
And the first bad mistake of the season. Harris rolls out and pump fakes but HIcks catches him from behind and knocks the ball loose before Moncrief recovers. Calgary ball on the Riders 14.

6 p.m.
Couple of plays for positive yardage get the Stamps up to their 50, but that's where the drive stalls. Great punt, though, and the Riders are starting their next drive from their own 10 with 9:30 to play in the half.

5:54 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN ROUGHRIDERS! Ouellette gets off a 13-yard run to get down to the Calgary 2, and Stevens finishes things off in his usual style. Seven plays, 80 yards, and Saskatchewan has a 10-0 lead with 13:54 to play in the first half. 

5:51 p.m.
JJ has a catch for 13 yards to get the Riders to mid-field and Emilus hauls in a 38-yard pass in double coverage, Saskatchewan is in business in the red zone at the Calgary 17 to end the first quarter.

5:44 p.m.
And the Stamps can't do anything with it. Mills runs for six, but the Riders get into the backfield and bring down Philpot on a second-down run. Punt, Riders get a no yard penalty in their end zone and scrimmage from their own 30.

5:39 p.m.
Two incomplete passes and the Riders are punting. Not quite the start they had last week so far. Riders punt, Calgary gets the ball back at midfield and great position to start their next drive with 4:25 to play in the first quarter.

5:36 p.m.
Calgary gets a total of three yards on their next drive, two-and-out. Punt and the return gets up to midfield, but a penalty sends the Riders back to their own 16.

5:32 p.m.
Drive stalls there, Riders punt but it's out the back of the end zone, Calgary gets the ball back on their 40 with 7:55 to play in the first quarter.

5:30 p.m.
JJ has an 18-yard catch on second down and Riders are into Calgary territory at the 49.

5:27 p.m.
A short run and near sack and it's a two-and-out on Calgary's first possession. Punt, and Riders get the ball back on their own 38.

5:22 p.m.
Incomplete pass to the end zone and short pass up the middle and the drive stalls. Hale has a 27-yard field goal attempt and it's good, 3-0 Saskatchewan with 12:04 to go in the first quarter.

5:18 p.m.
KeeSean has a 38 yard catch and the Riders are in business at the Calgary 25.

5:16 p.m.
Kickoff is up, and a facemasking penalty on the kickoff has the Riders starting at their own 48.

5:13 p.m.
RIders win the toss and get the ball and the wind to start the game. Interesting decision and we'll see how it works out.

5:05 p.m.
Going to be a bit of a delay to the game here as TSN and the CFL wait for afternoon game between the Montreal Alouettes and Edmonton Elks in Edmonton to wrap up. That one saw the Als hit a field goal with no time left on the clock to tie the game 26-26 and go to overtime.

5:04 p.m.
Here's are Luc's Three Keys to the Game for the Roughriders:

1 – Focus in on Riders centre and guard play. Calgary has been a disruptive force on the defensive line against Saskatchewan in the past, with Jaylon Hutchings and Miles Brown proving exceptionally tough to deal with. That means Rider guards Zach Fry and Jacob Brammer and cenre Logan Ferland will need to knock the Stamps defensive line back off the line of scrimage, give A.J. Ouellette holes to run through and Trevor Harris time to work with.

2 – Take standout Calgary running back Dedrick Mills out of the game early. Especially if the Riders get an early lead, limiting Mills' output will put Calgary off schedule, and the more second-and-seven-plus situations they can create, the fewer opportunities Mills will have to do damage. So limit his carries, shut him down quick and force Vernon Adams to rely on his receivers.

3 – Replicate the succes they had last week in the secondary. Especially when it comes to getting the Riders exceptionally skilled slotbacks on aging veteran linebacker Derrick Moncrief and other strong and weak side linebackers. Then create mismatches down the field on the Stamps safeties, and hopefully see the points add up quickly.

4:52 p.m.
All Bets Are Off's Barney Shynkaruk has the Riders beating the 1.5 point spread and is taking the over on a 50.5 over-under. As for other bets, Barney has the Riders on the first half money line, A.J. Ouellette scoring a first half touchdown and a quarter of a unit for a Dhel Duncan-Busby touchdown any time in the game.Take it to the bank!

4:22 p.m.
As has been mentioned a few times this week, the Riders haven't defeated Calgary since 2024. Coach Mace mentions in his pre-game comments that the team has talked about it, the same way they talk about factors surrounding every opponent, and it's just a matter of the will to win and executing like they can. Will that be enough to snap the skid? We shall see!

2:02 p.m.
It's shaping up to be an interesting one weather-wise this afternoon in Calgary, with Environment Canada having issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the city that will extend throughout game time. 
Temperature will be around 16 C at kickoff, with a 60 per cent chance of precipitation and breezy conditions, with winds steady at 20 km/h from the north with gusts to 40 km/h.

2 p.m.
It’s Week 3 in the Canadian Football League, it’s a battle between West Division rivals, it’s the Saskatchewan Roughriders taking on the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium in Calgary!

The Roughriders come into the contest on a high note after their final minute 31-27 victory over the B.C. Lions in their season opener last Saturday. Trevor Harris threw for over 400 yards in the win, with Kian Schaffer-Baker hauling in 11 passes for 165 yards and Samuel Emilus hauling in a trio of touchdown passes, including the game-winner.

It’s a small body of work at this point for the Green and White, but what fans saw last weekend was most certainly promising.

The Stampeders are coming off their first bye week after dropping a 30-28 decision to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 1. That was part of a series of utter barnburners on opening weekend in the CFL, as Winnipeg got a field goal on the final play of the game for the walk-off win

Vernon Adams Jr. and his offence showed flashes of brilliance, though, including a 21-point outburst in the second half and a solid ground game that saw Dedrick Mills rack up 16 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown.

So it’s setting up to be a very interesting match-up between a pair of teams that have their eye set on the top of the West Division.

The Rider Broadcast Network will have all the action, with the pre-game show beginning at 2 p.m. followed by Dave Thomas and Luc Mullinder with the game call at kick-off at 5 p.m.
