SASKATOON — Saskatoon police have arrested five people after a man was assaulted on the city’s east side Sunday evening.
At approximately 7 p.m., June 21, police were called to a parking lot in the 2900 block of 8th Street East. It was reported that several people were assaulting a male.
When officers arrived, they located a 24-year-old man who was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital.
Five people were also located nearby and arrested. A 41-year-old woman is charged with robbery and three men, ages 33, 50, 49, are charged with robbery and breach of probation.
Another woman, age 20, was found to be in possession of a knife and was charged. She will appear in court at a later date.
