PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team (PACRT) has wrapped up a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a 38-year-old man suspected of trafficking cocaine.
On the evening of June 24, members of PACRT executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant at a trailer court north of Prince Albert.
A search warrant was executed, and police seized $13,800 CAD, 59.7 grams of cocaine, pre-packaged in 1.6-gram baggies, 7.6 grams of psilocybin, two digital scales, and other paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
He is facing charges relating to possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime and will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on July 15.
