Later this month, federal, provincial and territorial agriculture ministers from across Canada will have their annual meeting in Halifax and high on the agenda will be the direction of the next five-year Ag Policy Framework.
CAPI, the Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute, together with a number of other organizations, has issued an Innovation Statement calling on governments to make agricultural innovation a key element of the next framework.
