ALBERTA — Charges against an Onion Lake, Sask., man returned before an Alberta court on July 2.
Courtlin Littlewolfe, 38, didn’t appear in person and a remote appearance was ordered for Aug. 13 in St. Paul Court of Justice.
Littlewolfe was arrested last December following a multi-jurisdictional effort when Alberta RCMP assisted Onion Lake RCMP in tracking suspects tied to a Saskatchewan drug trafficking and weapons investigation.
During a police pursuit, officers used a tire-deflation device to disable the vehicle and arrested both Courtlin Littlewolfe and Warren Littlewolfe. A search of the vehicle and occupants turned up brass knuckles, ammunition, suspected methamphetamine packaged for resale, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Police also recovered a shotgun and rifle they say the two men tossed out the window during the chase. Both firearms had tampered serial numbers and illegal modifications.

According to Saskatchewan court records, Courtlin Littlewolfe also goes by the name of Courtlin Whitstone. Lloydminster Saskatchewan Provincial Court has previously heard that he is a high-ranking member of the Westside Outlawz, a street gang based out of Onion Lake that is active in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.
In April, Warren Littlewolfe was sentenced to 150 days for possession of a firearm when prohibited, and 90 days consecutive for possession of a prohibited firearm.
