MOOSE JAW — The Moose Jaw Police Service and the Moose Jaw Board of Police Commissioners will host a swearing-in ceremony on Thursday, July 9.
David Chow, judge of the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan, will administer oaths to Cst. Joel Robinson, Brett Weichel, Taylor Mazenc, Jasveer Singh and Geoffrey LaBuick. Cst. Robinson is an experienced member who comes to the MJPS from the Saskatchewan Highway Patrol. Cst. Robinson began with the MJPS on June 1.
Brett Weichel, Taylor Mazenc, Jasveer Singh and Geoffrey LaBuick are new recruits and will begin training at the Saskatchewan Police College later this month.
The ceremony is from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Performing Arts Theatre, Moose Jaw Public Library (461 Langdon Cres.).
