SASKATOON — The trial for a convicted voyeur who was arrested just one day after his release from jail didn’t proceed in Saskatoon Provincial Court on June 10 and has been adjourned until September.
Kyle Ronald Hameluck was arrested by Saskatoon police on Feb. 14 after he became the subject of a public safety advisory. He was taken into custody after police found him breaching the conditions of his release, which had been granted earlier that same day when he was released from the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre.
The Saskatoon Police Service issued a public advisory regarding his release, saying he was convicted of 70 incidents of voyeurism, indecent acts and trespassing at night. Police said that, out of an abundance of caution and concern about his potential to re-offend, they chose to release his name and photo.
