REGINA — Visitors can take time to discover their own moments made in nature during Saskatchewan Parks Week July 12-18, which leads up to Canada's Parks Day, July 18.
"Saskatchewan Parks Week is an opportunity to explore the places which shape our summer," Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Alana Ross said. "Whether you stay a full week or just a day, we invite residents to experience everything our parks have to offer from the trails to the beaches, to the special events."
Canada's Parks Day, led by The Canadian Parks Council, celebrates nature through educational, hands-on, family-friendly experiences throughout the country.
With 36 provincial parks and more than 100 recreation sites, Saskatchewan offers countless ways to step outside and experience something unique.
To learn about provincial parks, visitors can check out the Find a Park page on saskparks.com and filter based on location, activities and accommodations most important to them.
