As for the weather, well, it’s a hot one and the players may very well think they’re seven inches from the midday sun by the time things get going. Temperatures will be in the 35 C range with a humidex of 43 at kickoff, with very little cooling expected throughout the game. There’s no chance of rain until around 8 p.m., and it will be a windy one with a breeze at 30 km/h from the south east with gusts up to 50 km/h.
At least smoke won’t be a concern…

The Rider Broadcast Network pregame show is currently underway, and you can catch Teagan Witko, Wes Cates and plenty of special guests during the pregame show. The Voice of the Roughriders Dave Thomas and analyst Luc Mullinder will have your game call at kick-off at 5 p.m.

It’s Week 6 in the Canadian Football League, it’s a battle between the West and East Divisions, it’s the Saskatchewan Roughriders taking on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday evening from Mosaic Stadium.
The Riders head into the game coming off a 27-22 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks in their most recent outing, a game that continued the string of Saskatchewan finding themselves in close contests this season. Of their four games this season, each have been decided by six points or less, including an overtime win in Calgary. Will we get another barnburner today? Time will tell!
Saskatchewan holds a 3-1 record and could move back into a tie for first place in the West with a win, and they have a valuable reinforcement in the line-up — former 1,000-yard running back A.J. Ouellette returns to the backfield after missing the last two games with an ankle injury.
Hamilton comes into the game with a 2-2 record and second place in the East, with much of the conversation this week surrounding who isn’t in the line-up for the TiCats this week.
Standout quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell suffered a major leg injury against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 5, leaving Hamilton with former Roughriders quarterback Jake Dolegala at centre. He’ll have all sorts of support from an incredibly talented corps of receivers, though — including Kiondre Smith, Kenny Lawler and Keric Wheatfall — and that means you can expect Hamilton’s offence to still be plenty dangerous.
