CANOE LAKE CREE FIRST NATION – Beauval RCMP are investigating a fatal ATV rollover.
On July 21 at approximately 8:35 a.m., Beauval RCMP received a report of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rollover on Canoe Lake Cree First Nation.
Officers responded along with EMS. The investigation determined that a driver and passenger on an ATV were involved in a rollover.
The passenger of the ATV was declared dead by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as an 18-year-old woman, from Canoe Lake Cree First Nation. Her family has been notified.
The driver of the ATV was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.
Beauval RCMP continue to investigate.
