YORKTON – A new court date has been set for one of three people arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Melville.
Tyrone Sayer, 44, of Regina, appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on July 24, where he was remanded in custody to Aug. 6.
On May 22, Melville RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on 2nd Avenue East, in relation to an incident that had occurred the day before.
It was reported that a man had robbed an individual, assaulted them, and discharged a firearm.
A search of the residence turned up two BB guns, a magazine, ammunition, cash, and a small amount of crystal meth and cocaine.
Police also found two bicycles reported stolen from a Melville business.
