SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN — An air quality statement has been issued for much of southern Saskatchewan due to wildfire smoke.
According to Environment Canada, the smoke is causing or will cause poor air quality.
Air quality and visibility due to wildfire smoke can fluctuate over short distances and vary considerably from hour to hour, Environment Canada said. As smoke levels increase, health risks grow.
"Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events," Environment Canada said.
The cities of Regina and Moose Jaw, and communities in 123 RMs, are covered.
